Cloudflare is a content delivery network, or CDN for short, that helps deliver your content to the end visitor faster, simpler, and more securely.
Our servers were upgraded last year to connect directly with Cloudflare so that all of our clients could benefit.
But, because of the pandemic, we never charged for the additional costs.
How Does it Work?
Nothing changes for you or for us here at Awesome Website Guys. The only thing that needs to happen is that the domain’s A record points to a new IP address. Once that’s done, Cloudflare kicks in and delivers the same version of your website to your visitors – just faster and more securely.
The security component is because Cloudflare’s IP automatically detects and blocks malicious activity. After all, that’s what their technology is built to do.
If you’re interested, all you have to do is join our $75 per month hosting and support plan. Cloudflare comes free with our unlimited support plan. If you have old or grandfathered pricing, we do ask that you upgrade to the new pricing in order to get Cloudflare activated.
